Ford partners with GlobalFoundries for auto chip supply and R&D
The agreement is expected to help Ford resolve its chip supply issues in the short term
According to a press release issued on 18 November, GlobalFoundries and Ford Motor Company announced a strategic collaboration to advance semiconductor manufacturing and technology development in the United States, with the goal of increasing chip supplies for Ford and the US automotive industry.
