Geely selects lightweight Lanxess material for front end carrier
The hybrid front end design includes a steel-based lower mounting and thermoplastic upper member
German chemical company Lanxess announced via press release on 29 September that Chinese OEM Geely had selected its specialty chemical Durethan BKV50H2.0 EF for the design of a front-end carrier structural component in an upcoming passenger car model.
