EV startup Rivian begins production of electric pick-up R1T at its Illinois plant
The number of EVs to be produced in the first batch, ramp up plans remain unknown
Electric vehicle startup Rivian has rolled off the first few units of its much-awaited R1T electric pick-up trucks, founder and chief executive officer RJ Scaringe said in a tweet on 14 September.
