Quality certification restored for Akebono's Yamagata and Fukushima manufacturing subsidiaries
Reinstatement follows the suspension of the IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certifications for four of Akebono’s subsidiaries in April
Japanese manufacturer of brake products Akebono announced via a press release on 6 September that the IATF 16949 certification had been restored for its Yamagata and Fukushima brake product manufacturing subsidiaries on 27 August and 3 September respectively.
