Tata Motors forecasts semiconductor shortage to impact offtake volumes in coming months
Recent lockdowns in East Asia have worsened the supply situation, said Tata Motors
Indian vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors Ltd forecasts that semiconductor shortage would continue to impact its monthly production schedules in the coming months. In a regulatory filing on 1 September, the company said that while semiconductor shortage continues to impact the vehicle production globally, the surge in new coronavirus cases across East Asia has worsened the supply situation.
