Covestro, Votteler, Reichle, and Merck develop intelligent surfaces for interior
Covestro collaborated with Votteler Lackfabrik, Reichle Technologiezentrum, and Merck KGaA on the current development of dashboards for car interiors
According to an official press release dated 24 August, Covestro announced that it has collaborated with three industry partners to develop an effective concept for the production of interior parts with seamless, intelligent surfaces using DirectCoating technology: Votteler Lackfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, laser texture specialist Reichle Technology Center, and Merck KGaA as a manufacturer of pearl effect pigments.
