Germany commissions 1,000 fast charging locations, unveils price models

According to Federal Minister Andreas Scheuer, Germany would invest EUR2 billion (USD2.35 billion) to set up the 1,000 fast-charging locations

In order to provide the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in medium and long-haul traffic, Germany’s Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) has issued tenders for the construction and operation of 1,000 fast charging locations, each with several charging points, BMVI said in an official statement on 16 August.
