Toyota plans to produce 170,000 fewer vehicles in August and September combined in North America

The maker of popular Land Cruiser sports utility vehicles (SUVs), Toyota Motor plans to cut down its vehicle production in North America in August and September as resurgence of COVID-19 cases rattle the automakers supply chain, according to a report filed by The Dallas Morning News on 19 August.
