Toyota’s subsidiary Woven Planet completes acquisition of AI startup CARMERA
Woven Planet is a group focused on mobility innovations and investments in robotics, smart cities, and other areas.
According to an official press release dated 18 August 18, Woven Planet Holdings, a Toyota Motor subsidiary, has acquired CARMERA, a US-based spatial artificial intelligence (AI) company that specializes in developing scalable, next-generation mapping solutions for automated mobility, a proposed transaction previously announced in July 2021.
