Lidar startup Quanergy demonstrates optical phased array lidar sensor with 100-m range
Quanergy is looking to increase the range up to 200 m as it works to improve the design
According to a press release published on Business Wire on 3 August, Quanergy Systems, a leading provider of OPA-based solid state lidar sensors and smart 3D solutions for automotive and IoT, today announced the successful driving demonstration of its S3 Series lidar, a true solid state lidar sensor that employs an industry-first Optical Phased Array (OPA) technology and a scalable CMOS silicon manufacturer.
