Sold a 15% stake of Zenseact autonomous driving technology division to ECARX
According to an official press release issued on July 14th, Volvo Cars' autonomous driving (AD) software development subsidiary Zenseact has received a strategic investment from ECARX, a privately held Chinese provider of cutting-edge connected car technology founded in 2016 by Eric Li, chairman of Volvo Cars and its parent Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, and Ziyu Shen, CEO of ECARX.
