Hyundai temporarily halts operation at Brazilian plant amid chip shortage

According to a press release on Yonap news dated 7 July, Hyundai Motor Co. has suspended operations at its Brazil plant for the first time since it opened in order to deal with prolonged automotive chip shortages, highlighting serious supply chain disruptions.
