Mitsubishi Outlander to feature Panasonic’s large-screen HUD

The WS HUD system from Panasonic features high-precision free-form mirror and high-intensity PGU technology

Mitsubishi is equipping its Outlander SUV model with a large-screen head-up display (HUD) from Panasonic. According to a press release by Panasonic on 27 May, the HUD has been fitted in the Outlander models in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rican from April this year. The supplier claims that this is the first time a Panasonic windshield (WS) HUD has been used by Mitsubishi Motors, as well as the OEM’s first time at using a WS type HUD.
