Michelin approves use of Carbios’ enzymatic plastic recycling technology in its tires
The collaboration represents nearly 3 billion plastic bottles per year to be recycled into technical fibers for use in Michelin tires.
Michelin has validated the use of Carbios’ enzymatic recycling technology for PolyEthylene Terephthalate (PET) plastic waste in its tires, according to a company press release on 23 April.
