TSMC says global semiconductors shortage could extend into 2022
Company expects investments of about USD30 billion on capacity expansions and upgrades
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) warned that a global shortage of semiconductors across industries from automaking to consumer electronics may extend into 2022, Bloomberg reported on 15 April.
