LG Electronics-Magna JV close to signing deal with Apple to manufacture EVs
LG officials declined to comment on the matter.
LG Magna e-Powertrain, a joint venture (JV) between LG Electronics and Magna International is "very near" to signing contracts with Apple to build its early electric vehicle (EV) models, reports The Korea Times. According to the report, Apple plans to limit production volume, as it aims to evaluate the marketability of the first-generation EVs.
