Ford recalls 153,000 vehicles in North America over defective airbag inflators
Automaker issues recall as it can't find 45 obsolete airbags that may have been installed on some old Ranger pickup trucks
Ford has lost track of some older Takata airbags that can explode and hurl shrapnel, so the automaker is recalling more than 154,000 vehicles in North America to check for them, according to a Reuters report on 18 February.
