The e-mobility segment was able to assume a greater market share in many major markets during the pandemic-hit 2020, reassuring investors of the upward trajectory of the industry
The year gone by was unlike anything expected at the start of the year. The COVID-19 pandemic, which became a potential concern around February, soon metamorphosed into an outright global disaster. Many sectors were impacted by the restrictions and lockdowns on a global scale; in fact some are still continuing at some level. The automotive industry, which was hoping for a recovery after a slow 2019, saw production and sales come to a standstill for nearly 1–2 months.
