New battery will have a range of 250 miles (402 km) and can be fully charged in 10 minutes

Pennsylvania State University researchers have developed a new lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery for electric vehicles (EV), which is fast-charging and inexpensive, the university announced on its website on 18 January.
