COVID-19 pandemic: Toyota to suspend production in UK, France due to part shipment delays
Japanese automaker will suspend production at its plants in these two countries until 4 January
Toyota has suspended production at its plants in the UK and France from today (22 December) because of expected delays in parts shipment caused by reports of a mutated strain of the COVID-19 coronavirus spreading in the UK, Bloomberg reported. The reports have led many countries to close borders with the UK, affecting auto parts shipment.
