European Commission approves FCA, PSA merger
PSA agreed to extend cooperation with Toyota Motor Europe to address EC’s competition concerns
The European Commission (EC) has approved the previously announced merger of Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and PSA Group, according to a press release by the executive arm of the European Union on 21 December. The approval will pave the formation of Stellantis, which will be the fourth-largest automotive group after Volkswagen (VW) Group, Toyota, and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi (RNM).
