Inaccuracy could result in around 2 million safety recalls globally

Joyson Safety Systems, which acquired assets of erstwhile Takata Corporation in 2018, is investigating inaccuracies in the reporting of belt webbing test data over a 20-year period at a Takata’s plant in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, Nikkei reported on 9 October.
