Infineon tests sensor system for autonomous driving with partners in Austria
The 'iLIDS4SAM' project encompasses the entire technology, application, and testing chain
Infineon Austria is leading 'iLIDS4SAM' project which is dedicated to sensor system that provides autonomous vehicle with three-dimensional (3D) image of their surroundings and enables such vehicles to anticipate danger situations, according to a report by Invest in Austria. The project aims to develop a powerful, affordable sensor system with deep learning data management that will help in turning vehicles into “intelligent and forward-looking road users”. The new sensor system will be tested in urban roads to demonstrate its integration and performance.
