UK's BEV sales more than triples y/y to 8,162 units in July
In the first seven months of 2020, sales of BEVs jumped 174.6% y/y to 39,119 units
Battery-electric car (BEV) sales in the United Kingdom grew more than 259% year on year (y/y) to 8,162 units in July, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) announced in a press release on 5 August.
