ADAS applications that will see high growth in near term
Automakers are preparing to bring Level 2+ and Level 3 automation to market in the very near term
A growing number of automakers are equipping their new vehicles with advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) to enable safer and comfortable driving. Some popular ADAS applications such as adaptive cruise control (ACC) and lane departure warning (LDW) systems, which debuted in premium vehicles over two decades ago, are now common even in more affordable vehicle segments. Apart from ACC and LDW, vehicles these days come equipped with a variety of ADAS, including forward collision warning (FCW), automatic high beam (AHB), lane keeping assist (LKA), automatic emergency braking (AEB), blind spot information (BSI), cross traffic alert (CTA), traffic sign recognition (TSR) and more.
