Ford has not been able to produce required engines at Chihuahua engine plant due to 50% production cap on all manufacturing activities imposed by the state government

Ford could shut down some of its factories in the US next week due to potential shortage in engines sourced from its Chihuahua plant in Mexico, Reuters reported on 9 July, citing US ambassador to Mexico Christopher Landau.
