Volvo Cars to equip next generation cars with Luminar’s lidar and perception technology
Volvo and Luminar are also exploring use of lidar sensor for improving ADAS in its vehicles
Volvo Cars has partnered with Luminar to equip its next-generation vehicles, based on its Scalable Product Architecture (SPA 2), with Luminar’s lidar and perception technology, the Sweden-based carmaker said in a press release on 6 May.
