Japanese automaker will halt production at Sayama plant for five days and at the Yorii plant for three days next week

Honda has decided to temporarily suspend production at its two plants in Saitama Prefecture in Japan due to disruption in supply of parts amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Kyodo News reported on 22 April. The automaker will halt production at its Sayama plant from 27 April to 1 May, while the Yorii plant will remain suspended for three days from 27 April to 29 April.
