JOINT VENTURE: Aptiv, Hyundai Motor Group complete establishment of autonomous driving JV
The JV will leverage HMG’s design, engineering, and manufacturing expertise and Aptiv’s autonomous driving solutions to commercialize SAE Level 4/5 platform for automakers, robotaxi providers, and fleet operators
Aptiv and Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) have completed the formation of their previously announced autonomous driving JV, the two companies said in a joint press release on 26 March. The 50:50 JV, whose name will be announced later, will be headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, US, with technology centers across the US and Asia.
