Jaguar Land Rover unveils ‘Project Vector’ autonomous electric vehicle concept for urban mobility
Company plans to launch a mobility service in Coventry in 2021
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has unveiled a new autonomous electric vehicle concept called ‘Project Vector’ for urban mobility, the company said in a press release on 18 February. The concept vehicle is compact in size, measuring four meters in length, and is designed for use in city. JLR has packaged battery and drivetrain of the concept vehicle into a flat floor to enable a variety of uses. The Project Vector concept features spacious cabin to allow a variety of seating configurations for private or shared use or even for commercial applications such as last mile deliveries.
