JV already constructing a lithium-ion battery plant in the country

Suzuki Motor, through its joint venture (JV) Automotive Electronics Power Pvt. Ltd (AEPPL), is planning to set up an electric vehicle (EV) battery recycling plant in India, Autocar Professional reported on 8 February citing Hisashi Takeuchi, managing officer and deputy executive general manager (global automobile marketing) at Suzuki Motor Corporation.
