Daimler announces new corporate structure
New corporate structure is expected to offer more managerial and functional autonomy to the individual business unit
The Daimler Group has launched its previously-announced new corporate structure, effective 1 November 2019, the Germany-based automaker said in a press release. Under new corporate structure, the group comprises parent company, Daimler AG, and three operating subsidiaries— Mercedes-Benz AG, responsible for Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans; Daimler Truck AG, responsible for all Daimler Trucks and Buses activities; and Daimler Mobility AG, which was earlier known as Daimler Financial Services.
