FCA, PSA Groupe agree to combine business in 50:50 merger

The planned merger would create the world’s fourth largest automotive group in terms of unit sales and create annual run-rate synergies of EUR3.7 billion

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Groupe PSA have agreed combine their businesses in a 50:50 merger, the two automakers said in joint press release today (31 October). The Board of Directors of FCA and the Supervisor Board of PSA have given mandates to their respective senior management teams to finalize the deal and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the coming weeks.
