Automotive manufacturers across the globe are investing ever increasing amounts of time, effort and money in order to make the interiors of their vehicles better. Vehicle owners are spending longer durations in their cars than ever before in history, particularly due to longer commute times. Studies have shown that, in the United States alone, commuters lose nearly a hundred hours each year due to traffic congestion. This, coupled with unpredictable weather patterns, has resulted in the need to improve the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, more commonly known as climate control systems, in automobiles.
