Nichia, Infineon to jointly develop HD micro-LED matrix lighting solution
New product, suitable for front light applications, can control 16,000 micro-LEDs individually
Japan-based Nichia Corporation and Infineon Technologies have teamed up to jointly develop a high-definition (HD) light engine with more than 16,000 micro-LEDs for front light applications, Infineon said in a press release on 18 September.
