Vehicle headlights are shifting from conventional bulb headlamps to high-resolution matrix headlights that focus on enhancing safety through various sensors. Most of the safety concerns, such as blind-spot and forward-collision warnings and avoidance, have diminished with the use of cameras and advancements in machine vision technologies. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are becoming common in high-end cars owing to less cost constraints, however, these features are still finding their way into lower segments due to high costs.
