Nexteer, Dongfeng Components JV begins steering systems production in China
JV produces single pinion assist EPS for Nexteer customers including BMW and Groupe PSA
Dongfeng Nexteer Steering Systems (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., a 50:50 joint venture (JV) in China between Nexteer Automotive and Dongfeng Motor Parts and Components Group Co., Ltd. (Dongfeng Components), has started mass production of single pinion assist electric power steering (SPEPS) systems, according to a Nexteer press release on 20 August.
