Hyundai to make rear seat reminder systems standard in new vehicles in US from 2022
Korean automaker will voluntarily equip most of new vehicles with Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) door-logic system as standard and also offer Ultrasonic Rear Occupant Alert as an option
Hyundai will make rear seat reminder systems standard features in most of its new vehicles in the United States by 2022, the company said in a press release on 31 July. The Korean automaker will voluntarily equip its vehicles with Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) door-logic system. In addition, the company will offer Ultrasonic Rear Occupant Alert or a similar sensor-based system as an option on more of its future models.
