Two German companies claim to be the first in the world to receive regulatory approval for operating completely driverless automated vehicle parking service

Daimler and Bosch have received regulatory approval from the competent authorities in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, for automated valet parking service in Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, the automotive supplier said in a press release today. The automated valet service can be accessed via a smartphone app. According to Daimler and Bosch, their new automated parking system collects and returns the vehicle completely independently, without any external help.
