ZF develops predictive chassis concept ‘Flying Carpet 2.0’
The concept connects steering systems with active damping and braking to deliver more comfortable ride
ZF has developed a new chassis concept called ‘Flying Carpet 2.0’ that connects steering systems with active damping and braking to deliver more comfortable ride, the company said in a press release on 18 July. The chassis concept also features a comprehensive range of sensors and smart control technologies to protect vehicle occupants from uncomfortable vehicle movements, smooths out bends, bumps in the road and potholes in the predictive manner.
