Audi recalls 138,896 vehicles in US over defective airbags
An improper electrical contact may cause the passenger occupant detection system to inaccurately detect a malfunction and deactivate the passenger airbag
Audi plans to recall 138,896 vehicles in the United States to fix defective airbags, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The affected vehicles include model year 2015-2016 Audi S3 sedan, 2015-2019 A3 sedan and cabriolet, 2016-2018 A3 e-tron and 2017-2019 RS3 models.
