Volkswagen invest over USD1 billion in joint battery activities with Northvolt
Two companies to also establish a 50:50 joint venture (JV) later this year which will set up a battery cell factory in Europe
Volkswagen (VW) has invested EUR900 million (USD1 billion) in joint battery development activities with Northvolt, the company announced in a press release on 12 January.
