Harman unveils Dual-Mode V2X system

Using Dual-Mode V2X system, automakers can leverage OTA commands to select which of the two standards will be implemented on each vehicle

Harman has introduced Dual-Mode V2X (vehicle-to-everything) system at the TU-Automotive Detroit 2019 in Novi, Michigan (United States), the company said in a press release on 5 June. The system features both hardware and software and taps into both dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) and cellular-vehicle to everything (C-V2X) networks.
