Fiat Chrysler Automobiles selects Google, Harman for new connected vehicle ecosystem
US automaker will start equipping its new vehicles with the new ecosystem in the second half of 2019
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has teamed up with Google and Harman, a Samsung subsidiary, to deliver a new ‘connected vehicle ecosystem’ in its new vehicles, from the second half of 2019, the automaker said in a press release on 30 April. The new ecosystem will offer both on- and off-board systems to deliver faster and integrated connected experience in FCA vehicles. The company aims to equip its all new vehicles sold globally with this connected vehicle ecosystem by 2022.
