Allegro launches Hall-effect sensor ICs to enhance ADAS safety
These magnetic sensors have integrated self-test features that are always compatible in the background while the system is running, resulting in very short fault detection time
Allegro MicroSystems has introduced two new Hall-effect sensor integrated circuits (ICs), the APS11450 and APS12450 to enhance safety of advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), the company said in a press release. The APS11450 is a family of unipolar switch ICs, while the APS12450 devices are bipolar latches. These two magnetic sensors have integrated self-test features that are always compatible in the background while the system is running, resulting in very short fault detection time.
