BMW has partnered with DXC Technology, a US-based information technology (IT) services specialist, to accelerate its autonomous vehicle development, DXC said in a press release on 8 April. BMW’s manufacturing and research and development (R&D) teams will use DXC’s digital solution to collect store and manage vehicle sensor data in seconds rather than in days and weeks. This is expected to enable faster autonomous drive development cycles.
