Auto Shanghai 2019: BMW to make China debut of ‘Vision iNEXT' autonomous electric concept

Company will also debut BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant at the Shanghai Auto Show

BMW will debut its Vision iNEXT autonomous electric SUV concept at the Auto Shanghai 2019 in China later this month, the Germany-based automaker said in a press release on 2 April. According to the company, while the concept vehicle’s exterior embodies the proportions and dimensions of a sports activity vehicle (SAV), its interior takes the form of a mobile environment designed to enhance quality of life. BMW will begin series production of a vehicle based on the Vision iNEXT from 2021.
