Molex joins Networking for Autonomous Vehicle (NAV) Alliance

NAV is dedicated to defining procedures and specifications to ensure interoperability, security and reliability of the network architectures for autonomous vehicles

Molex has joined the Networking for Autonomous Vehicles (NAV) Alliance to collaborate on the development and adoption of next-generation multi-gig Ethernet automotive networking, the company said in a press release last week. The alliance, founded by Aquantia, Bosch, Continental, NVIDIA, and the Volkswagen Group of America last year, is working on defining procedures and specifications to ensure interoperability, security and reliability of the network architectures for autonomous vehicles.
