ZF acquires 60% share of autonomous mobility solutions company 2getthere
Strategic investment strengthens ZF’s presence in growing markets of mobility-as-a-service (MAAS) solutions, autonomous transport systems, and shared autonomous vehicles
ZF has acquired 60% stake in the Netherlands-based autonomous mobility solution provider 2getthere, the company said in a press release on 19 March. Established over 35 years ago, 2getther offers driverless electric transport systems at airports, business and theme parks in several major cities including Rotterdam, Abu Dhabi and Singapore. The company claims to have accumulated more than 100 million kilometers of autonomous mileage with driverless passenger and cargo systems in these cities.
