The European Commission (EC) has concluded a probe involving supply of occupant safety systems to automakers in Europe and found Autoliv, TRW and Takata guilty of participating in anti-competitive behavior, the Commission said in a press release on 5 March. EC has fined Autoliv and TRW a total of EUR368.3 million (USD416.9 million) for breaching antitrust rules, but let off Takata without any fine as the Japanese supplier revealed the anti-competitive behavior to the Commission.
